Gedurende afgelopen 2 jaar is Troy bezig met de opnamens van een CD. Deze vier nummers zijn tot nu toe het resultaat:

"Lane" is about losing a friend. The song describes a few memories about him. His great smile is etched in my memory. He died in the winter and on his funeral the snow covered his grave. A year after his death I daily walked through a beautiful lane towards the station. The environment made me think of him, and I hoped that I would never forget him, hence the song.

"Proud" is more of a pop-kind song, with a nice (non-pop) Iona-like ending. Proud tells us the story of Job. Job lost everything he ever had. He's angry with God, because he thinks that, while living his whole life the right way, it is not fair losing everything. God answers Job by giving him several questions, as reflected in the lyrics, to make him see that He is much greater than Job thinks He is.

"Look Out! There is always something under the bed that can bite your toe" is the official title of the song, but we mostly call it just "Look Out!" (you probably guessed why). The title is a kind of eye wink to the greatest comic ever: Calvin and Hobbes. This song is an instrumental one! With a nice clear melody, solo's of both sax and guitar including a (musically) surprise in the middle of the song! Enjoy, but watch out!

"Inner World". This song is about a girl that is locked in a closet and cannot reach the world outside. Sometimes it's like such a girl is living on the inside of you. On the outside it's not always visible but on the inside you feel alone and it's like you cannot come closer to other people. On a very special moment Jesus reached out to me and told me that He loved me and that I was special to Him the way He made me. From that moment I could finally love myself for the very first time and it's like I'm living in a brighter and more spacious world.
The song starts like a piano played within a closet. More and more the song opens up, until there is freedom: I’m out of the closet!
